The Dark Meditation

You summon up your distaste, those people who attacked you, that idiot who short changed you, that fool who cared too much about what others thought. But you realise they are weak and inferior, they are not worth your hate, for they are the lowest most pathetic examples, barely worthy of existance, and they are not worth your attention.

But you are still a creation echoeing the darkness of the great song. You cannot say you are happy with the world, and so you look for that darkness within yourself, that darkness that will allow you to get as close as possible to touching the divine. You think of yourself, and your dark being. You see the dislike there. Why werent you good enough to seduce that girl? Why could you not control your finances and afford takeaway. You disgust yourself. To an extent. But you can hear in the back of your mind a second calling, rather you can feel it from your second heart. These things matter little, they are annoying, but they will not allow you to access the power within you and touch the divine. Yet you try. And they burn fast and easily, and they do not help your mind transcend the barriers of the concious.

We go back to that second calling, that gut feeling that knew that this hate was weak, and we allow it to throw images into our concious. Now we experiance true disgust. Our bodies, our lack of discapline, our weaknesses, those things that truely let us down, that truely hamper our existance and progress upon this path and through the valley. Allow your conciousness to dissattach itself, you are now a voice in the heavens, and you are looking upon your own form, naked and unadorned before you minds eye. And the voice spouts the distate, the disgust, your dislike of what the mortal world has moulded you into. And you burn the body in front of you with a flame. You feel inside your own body the warm burning of the dirty mortal self within you, whilst your true self stands tall and looks on, understanding the ritual cleansing. As you burn, it fights for its existance, but you icnrease the flame, the dislike, for it is now ahmpering you yet again on your path towards destiny.

Maintain this burning until you have reached the utmost disgust within you and the flame burns no more. Your mortal self, your dislike, is black and burnt. Now as you count down slowly from ten to one, you feel this decayed darkness condense and solidify until it is a solid darkness or burnt out disgust within you. Now feel the spirits of darkness rise within your body. Feel them come through the floor, through your feet and up through your body. Feel them pass through each part of your body slowly but surely, filling up and condensing. When you feel the dark spirits whirling around your head, keep drawing them up, feel the pressure increase, slowly slowly, but you hold the spirits in, until your entire body is full to complete density.

You have now aligned yourself to a certian extent with the melody of the great song and can continue with your desired use, be it to draw more so the pressure bursts and the surrounding area fills with the spirits, or be it to force the spirits back towards the second heart.

Self-Reflection Sith Meditation

There is a place within you, a place as briskly clean as ice on a mountain top, cool and remote. Find that high place, and look down within yourself; breath that clean icy air as you regard your guilt and shame. Do not deny them; observe them. Take your horror in your hands and look at it. Examine it as a phenemenon. Smell it. Taste it. Come to know it only as you can, for it is yours and it is precious. Handle your emotions. Dissect them, reassemble them, do anything with them to your pleasure. You may still feel them, they may even be there more noticeable than before, but these emotions, no longer will they have the power to cloud your mind. Do anything in this place within yourself. That cold distance-the mountain top within yourself-that is the first key to the power of the Sith.

To those that have read Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, this should seem familiar, this is the first technique Sidious taught to Darth Vader. I have used this method of meditation often and have found it to be very effective. My cold distance is a shiny metallic room, bright with the white glare of the snow outside of it. This room is at the top of my mountain. There is a large opening, almost as if it were a…hanger I suppose.
